YouTube Increases Upload Limit Again

Just a few months back, YouTube had bumped their original upload limit from 10 to 15 minutes. Today, YouTube is allowing users who have followed the community guidelines to upload videos longer than 15 minutes to their channel.

YouTube hasn’t mentioned how much the limit has been increased, although they did posted the following quote on their blog.

So go find that movie you wrote and filmed last year and share it with the world! Or upload your son’s championship high school basketball game or the insightful lecture you just gave on the emerging economics of green tech. As long as it’s your original content, it’s fair game regardless of length.

This might hint an unlimited bump until the file size reaches 2 GB.

If your account qualifies, you will see a congratulatory message on the upload page letting you know you got the bump!
